LexisNexis illegally collected and sold people’s personal data, lawsuit alleges

LexisNexis selling personal data to ICE. Immigration Activists believe that LexisNexis Risk Solutions Inc., has been selling personal data from buyer to company, law enforcement, and government company such as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Activists say the data is being sold without buyer consent.
A complaint was filed by immigration activists in an Illinois circuit court last week.
The complaint alleges that the selling of personal data through the online policy Accurint break the privacy of Illinois locals.
