Petty Offense Exception Excuses a Crime
Boyfriend plead guilty to one charge of theft under $100. Maximum sentence is less than one year in MD I believe. Would it be possible for him to get the petty theft exception or is it pretty much a lost cause. ICE is picking him up from the jail and then I’m not sure what will happen after that. Will he need another lawyer?
