Application for adjustment of status and replacement I-94 approved in less than 4 months for Client with a domestic violence conviction. In scenarios needing AOS and replacement of I-94, efficiency is key. The AOS and replacement of I-94 processes have been streamlined to increase efficiency. This also reduces operating costs. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
has automated Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record, at air and sea
ports of entry. This automated system will create an electronically
generated arrival-departure record with all the data elements found
on the paper form. The paper form will no longer be provided upon
arrival, except in limited circumstances. You will be provided with
a CBP admission stamp in your travel document. It will show the date
of admission, class of admission, and admitted until date. If you
need a copy of your I-94 record of admission for verification of alien
registration, immigration status, or employment authorization, it can
be obtained at www.cbp.gov/I94. A paper Form I-94 will still
be provided at land border ports of entry. It will also be given to certain classes of
aliens, such as refugees, certain asylees, and parolees. AOS and replacement of I-94 will comply with these provisions. Additionally, it will be provided whenever
CBP determines that issuance of a paper form is appropriate. If you were issued a paper Form I-94 when you entered the United States and it contains an error, or there is an error on your electronic I-94 that you obtained from www.cbp.gov/I94, you will need to contact CBP. Alternatively, visit the CBP Deferred Inspection Office closest to your location.
