Appeals court panel casts doubt on DACA legality

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) legality. DACA recipients cannot receive amnesty or legitimation. Recipients can get a temporary stay against their deportation for two years at a time. Recipients cannot vote. DACA recipients cannot receive any federal benefits, like Social Security, college financial aid, or food stamps. DACA would hurt families across the country, with far-reaching harm for nearly every community in the U.S. DACA grantee have deep roots in their local communities.
