Change in CBP Policy on Deferred Inspection of Legal Permanent Residents with Criminal Convictions – October 1, 2009

CBP has changed their policy on deferred inspection of Legal Permanent Residents with criminal convictions, commencing October 1, 2009. LPRs may now be issued an NTA upon return, instead of being granted deferred inspection.
