The Ninth Circuit affirmed the district court’s issuance of a permanent injunction in Moreno Galvez v. Jaddou, requiring USCIS to adjudicate Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) petitions within 180 days of filing.
The court also vacated a provision permitting SIJ petitioners to toll the statutory deadline.
